Vision Statement

The West Michigan Gay Men’s Chorus, upon consideration of our capabilities and goals, will focus its energies in the following areas:

1. Consistently maintain a professional men’s chorus.
2. Sustain and promote good music in a variety of styles and genres.
3. Strive to expand and develop chorus quality, membership, and magnitude.
4. Encourage active participation of all men regardless of sexual orientation, race, age, or social status.
5. Understand that music is to share, enjoy, challenge, provoke, and stimulate.
6. Recognize that there is always a partnership between the performance and the audience and that a well-received public event is a great way to build community.
7. Advocate the development of a positive relationship between the citizens of West Michigan and the gay cultural community.
